Do I need a cloud AI subscription?

Inference runs with models installed on this VedasTranslation server. Model packages and OCR resources are installed separately. Hardware and hosting remain your responsibility.

Can I translate a scanned document?

Yes, when Tesseract and the appropriate OCR language pack are installed. Review extracted text before importing it. Original document layout is not preserved.

Where are my projects and translations stored?

Workspace records are stored in SQLite on this server. Signed-in accounts use separate workspace databases. Local mode remains separate until you explicitly import its data.

Can I connect an external application?

Create an API key from your signed-in Developer API page and use the protected /api/v1 endpoints. View the actual API documentation.
